Michael Jackson’s Nephew Is Cast To Play Him. Will this movie really explore Jackson’s entire life? Not only that, will Jaafar Jackson due him justice?
In other words, can Jackson’s nephew portray him well? Or will this film be another documentary? Hopefully, Director Fuqua will nail this movie.
Especially since Fugua is one of the greatest film directors. Fuqua has directed, Training Day, The Replacement Killers, King Arthur, and Brooklyn’s Finest.
One of my favorite ‘Bait’ starring Jamie Foxx was directed by Fuqua. In addition, Denzel Washington won an Academy Award for his film‘ Training Day.’
Needless to say, Fuqua knows how to tell a story. Therefore, his new project ‘Michael’ should be epic. Or at best, we will get to see Jackson’s nephew.
Having said this, who is Jaafar? Jaafar is a rising singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the son of Jermaine Jackson. Jermaine is Michael’s older brother.
It was inevitable Jaafar would choose a career in acting. Although, he had aspirations of becoming a professional golfer. Ultimately, he chose acting and singing, as reported by IMDB.
We are not surprised. After all, Jaafar is from the legendary Jackson family. There has never been any boy band greater than The Jacksons.
Not to mention, his uncle Michael was deemed the greatest entertainer of all time. However, will Jaafar be able to walk in his uncle’s shoes?
Not only that, Katherine Jackson (Michael’s mother) believes Jaafar can do it. She shared this,
“Jaafar embodies my son. It’s so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainers and performers,”
