According to BET, the alleged kingpin, Pin Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, has been released. He is allegedly spending the remainder of his sentence in a halfway house.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Bureau of Prisons released Big Meech. He was moved from FCI Coleman Low in Florida to a Miami facility.

This facility is a community confinement program managed by a Miami Residential Reentry program. Big Meech was initially to be released in 2026, but he was released three years earlier.

As we all know, Big Meech, along with his brother Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” Flenory, war alleged drug traffickers. It has been alleged that the brothers had a money laundering and drug trafficking enterprise.

This drug enterprise spanned the USA. The brothers established BMF Entertainment in the early 2000s. Although BMF was a hip-hop entertainment company, it was said to be only a front.

In actuality, BMF was allegedly used to mask the underground drug business. Their empire was reportedly brought down by the FBI in 2005. At the time, more than 100 alleged associates were arrested.

We learned that over $270 million was allegedly seized, along with weapons and drugs. That was the end of the BMF alleged criminal organization.

Having said this, some in the hip-hop community celebrated after Big Meech’s release. So, Rozay welcomed Big Meech back by jumping on social media.

Since Big Meech has been released near Rozay, will he visit? If not, at least he honored Big Meech with paying tribute to him.

Here is the original track; take a listen.

Celebrating Big Meech’s Release

Rick Ross is not the only rapper celebrating Big Meech’s release. Female rapper Sexxy Red has gone public with her welcoming Big Meech back home.

In addition, rapper Boosie Badazz and Big Meech’s son, Lil Meech, all reacted to his release. “Where is the welcome home party?” Sexxy Red said as Vibe stated.

Lil Meech went on Instagram and posted a clip from the classic movie A Bronx Tale. We don’t know if Big Meech will have a party in January.

We know that the hip-hop community welcomes him back with open arms. At this time, Big Meech has not made any public statement.

By the way, the only one missing from Rozay’s tribute to Big Meech was rapper Style’s P. It sounds like Big Meech could make a triumphant return to hip-hop.
