We were not surprised to hear about the murder-for-hire plot involving Lil Durk. It is public knowledge that Li Durk had beef with Quando Rondo.
However, no one could have predicted what would happen between rival rappers. Even though Lil Durk has had run-ins with the law, nothing compares to this.
There are new developments in the case; documents about a witness have surfaced. According to court documents filed in October 2025, Lil Durk’s trial has been delayed.
In the meantime, we learned Lil Durk may have placed a monetary bounty on six individuals. Some of the names on the six were rapper Quando Rondo, a rival of Lil Durk.
Prosecutors are alleging that Lil Durk’s murder-for-hire plot was an act of retaliation. This retaliation was allegedly because of rapper King Von’s murder.
At the time of his death, King Von was a protege of Lil Durk. And, King Von was signed to Lil Durk’s record label (OTF).
Apparently, a witness told investigators that Lil Durk offered money for hits on rival rappers.

Prosecutors in Lil Durk’s murder-for-hire case wanted to use the rapper’s lyrics as evidence. However, they were unsuccessful; Lil Durk’s defense team stopped the motion.
Furthermore, Lil Durk’s attorney, Drew Findling, has characterized the prosecution’s allegations as “sweeping generalizations.” And, want prosecutors to present more specific details about the evidence.
Reports by XXL Mag shared that Lil Durk’s legal team is fighting to suppress specific evidence. As you can see, the case is heating up. And, it appears to be the end of the legal trouble for Lil Durk.
With this new alleged ” confidential informant claiming Lil Durk put the hit on Quando Rondo, what’s next? Will Lil Durk spend the rest of his life behind bars?
Or will Lil Durk be exonerated and released? It appears Lil Durk has an uphill battle to prove his innocence.
