Tyquain Bowman, a rising star in the rap scene, has finally spoken out about his cousin Sayiaya Robinson’s death. According to Hip Hop Dx, the OTF (Only the Family) crew was accused of shooting and killing Sayiaya in August 2022.
The indictment for the five men allegedly involved in the murder-for-hire plot went down Thursday. Quando Rondo was the alleged target. However, it was Quando’s cousin who was shot and killed while sitting in a car in NYC.
Lil Durk was arrested in Florida a few days ago and held without bail. As reported by TMZ, Lil Durk was arrested in Broward County. He has been implicated in the murder-for-hire plot along with five other of his alleged crew.

This was a very unexpected response to Lil Durk’s arrest. But it sounds as though Quando Rondo is taking the high road.
He could have quickly criticized Lil Durk. Instead, Quando Rondo’s message was one of forgiveness.
By addressing the situation head-on, the rapper has demonstrated maturity and empathy in dealing with such a delicate issue. His words have resonated with fans and followers.
This was such a mature way of addressing his cousin’s untimely death. Perhaps Quando believes Lil Durk did nothing to do with his cousin’s death.
Or Quando may be grateful to have his probation restrictions lifted. As reported last week, Quando can now travel to NYC to speak with his record label, Atlantic.
He is also busy promoting his new music, “Life Goes On, ” released over the weekend. Lil Durk remains behind bars.
At this point, we are not sure how things will work out for the rapper. For now, Quando has moved on.
