It’s all over the three Birkin Bags he bought for Cardi.
This particular Birkin bag is made from the skin of a crocodile.
Crocodiles are animals often subjected to inhumane conditions and cruel treatment during skinning.
According to PETA, the exotic skin industry is ethically questionable and environmentally damaging.
Sourcing and manufacturing crocodile skin involves immense cruelty towards these creatures.
They argue that the crocodile farming industry is inherently cruel.
And with animals confined to small enclosures and subjected to unnatural conditions.
Furthermore, the chemicals used in the tanning process of these skins have a detrimental impact on the environment.
Vice President at PETA, Lisa Lange, fired off saying,
“PETA reminds everyone that people who still spend their money on a closet full of dead animals’ body parts either are clueless or simply don’t care about the extreme cruelty they’re perpetuating—it’s just not worth it.”
Because PETA has relentlessly pursued animal rights, Chanel, Burberry, and HUGO BOSS have complied.
