Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Children Have No Money
Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Children Have No Money. His estate has not paid money in 18 years. When he died there was no will.
Why Is His Estate Not Paying Out?
Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Children Have No Money. And, the reason is unacceptable. Especially since Russell Jones aka Ol’Dirty estate was worth around $10 million.
Not to mention, he was to receive royalties from the Wu-Tang Clan. The legendary rap group is still making money. In fact, the group has its own merchandise.
Therefore, his children should have received an inheritance. Since he did not have a will, his widow Icelene Jones became the administrator. And, his estate was to be split between her and his seven children. How
So far, according to Afrotech, some of the children have not gotten on red cent. His daughter Ashana Jones, shared this,
“I have not seen anything as of yet and neither have my half-siblings,” Ashana told The Post. “I don’t know what is owed. But I just want what is owed. That sum can be sizable and right now I have received zero. I reached out to Greg to try getting light on the situation about the heirs’ share.”
Apparently, something went terribly wrong. In the meantime, his widow filed a lawsuit against the Wu-Tang production company. Jones claims her husband’s estate is owed around $1 million in royalties.
Having said this, it appears whatever money owed is being held. However, why hasn’t the money been paid. What could be the problem? Who is responsible to give them their shares?
RZA from Wu-Tang Clan claims only a minimal amount is owed to Jones. But how could that be? This is one huge mess. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved without litigation.
