Reports by Billboard say there is a possibility that Jay-Z could stop the auction. But he may not have to because Jay-Z will become the legal owner in 2031.
Jay-Z is primarily the owner of Reasonable Doubt, his album. That complicates the auction for Dame’s shares of Roc-A-Fella.
Jay-Z’s Legal Team Prepares
It appears Jay-Z’s legal team may take action against the sale of Reasonable Doubt. As the majority stakeholder in the company, Jay-Z aims to protect his interests.
Reports suggest that his legal team is exploring options to acquire Dame Dash’s share in the company. As the saga of Roc-A-Fella Records unfolds, things may get worse for Dame.
The once inseparable trio has been in a bitter legal dispute over the label’s assets. Perhaps, this issue with the former label will be resolved.
