G Herbo Wants To Avoid Jail Time
G Herbo Wants To Avoid Jail Time. Herbert Wright III has been accused of fraud. Allegedly, Wright is facing charges of aggravated identity theft.
Will G Herbo’s Plea Deal Be Accepted?
G Herbo Wants To Avoid Jail Time. If the judge grants Wright a deal, he will not face jail.
The Chicago rapper was allegedly part of a $1.5 million fraud scheme. Vibe reports that the prosecution has requested Rule 11 for Wright.
Here is what was proposed,
“Under the proposed plea, charges such as aggravated identity theft, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of two years, could be dismissed. “
Since December, Wright’s legal team has been in negotiations. Wright turned himself in back in May 2021.
Four other people are being charged in the wire transfer scheme. XXL Mag. reports Wright participated in allegedly paying for private jet rides.
Also, Wright allegedly paid for vacation rentals and stayed at hotels.
At the same time, Wright allegedly rode around in limousines. Of course, Wright claimed he was innocent.
But that has not stopped the prosecution from coming after him.
Apparently, Wright was given an ultimatum, especially since he is now taking a plea.
I can almost hear you thinking, where did the money Wright allegedly took come from?
More importantly, what kind of plea agreement did Wright make with Feds?
Here’s the interesting part, all four defendants are taking a plea.
Does that mean nobody is going to jail? Not only that, will Wright get probation or house arrest?
On another note, Wright was seen helping Chicago residents. In November 2022, Wright partnered with “Dion’s Chicago Dream” project.
Food was donated to over 500 Chicago families during Thanks Giving. It was Wright’s way of giving back.
This would be better than getting into legal trouble.
