Chrisean Rock Fires Back At Tamar’s Singer On Assault Allegations. The famous, controversial female rapper finds herself in the middle of another alleged crime. This time, she is being accused of assaulting singer Tamar Braxton’s backup singer. This alleged incident occurred when Chrisean was asked to appear at one of Tamar Braxton’s concerts. Allegations of backstage assault re-surfaced, threatening to tarnish her reputation and career. In response to these accusations, Chrisean is still claiming her innocence. But she now has to respond to the allegations made by James Wright.

According to Yahoo, Chrisean continues to have vehemently denied the accusations of backstage assault that occurred in November 2023. James served the lawsuit in May 2024.
He claims Chrisean Malone attacked him when he tried to redirect her while backstage. She was supposed to perform on stage with Tamar—at least, that was what Chrisean thought.
But James tried to tell Chrisean she was not in the designated area and that she was only to perform, allegedly, at the end. That did not sit well with Chrisean, who believed otherwise.
Somehow, Chrisean and James were allegedly in some incident. James claims he suffered numerous physical injuries, extreme “mental anguish,” and severe distress.
And James claims it was Chrisean who assaulted him.
Allegations Of Backstage Assault
The allegations of backstage assault against Chrisean Rock come at the wrong time for her. Chrisean claims she has a new lease on life. She has left her past behind and is embarking on a new venture.
This includes changing her musical image. However, before this can fully take place, Chrisean has to answer James Wright’s allegations.
In Touch Weekly reports that Chrisean is firing back at James by denying all his allegations. As we mentioned earlier, Chrisean will have to answer James’ lawsuit.
Especially if she wants to clear her name and save her reputation.
James was allegedly barred from recovering damages against her because of his “conduct, actions, and omissions.”
Only time will tell how this will play out. Perhaps James will recover some monetary damages. Or Chrisean might prevail victoriously.
