Little League Game Tragedy

Boy Dies During Little League Game. As reported by the New York Post, a fourth-grader died Friday at a baseball game.

According to reports, Lazar LaPenna collapsed on his way to first base. Sadly, his father witnessed the tragedy from the sidelines.

The NY Post reports that the young boy suffered a seizure.

Gregg LaPenna, his father and coach confirmed the youth player suffered from epilepsy.

Mr. LaPenna stated that Lazar was diagnosed at an earlier age. However, with medication and guidance, they managed the condition.

Thus, baseball has nothing to do with the Little Leaguer collapsing.

Importantly, the league explained the LaPenna family has a long history of involvement in their sports events.
