Busta Rhymes Will Receive BET’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Rhymes will be honored by his peers on Sunday, June 25th.
There will be a tribute to Rhymes by Coi Leray and Rah Digga, as stated by Hip Hop DX.
Also, Rhymes is being acknowledged for his thirty-year career in showbiz.
He is the third hip-hop artist to receive this award from BET.
Other reciepents were Sean”Diddy’Combs and Dana”Queen Latifah”Owens.
Scott Mills, CEO of BET, said,
“Busta Rhymes is a multifaceted, award-winning artist who has mesmerized audiences for decades with his original hip-hop sound and one-of-a-kind visuals,” Also, Mills admits“He continues to leave an indelible mark on the culture that we hold dear, and it is with great pride that we present this year’s lifetime achievement award to a visionary, a master of rhyme and a true pioneer.”
I could not have said it better.
There is no other rapper who can spit out rhymes faster than Busta.
The star-studded event will showcase hip-hop performers such as Ice Spice, Latto, D-Nice, and Redman.
This is going to be an epic show. I know you will all be watching.
