Aaliyah’s Mother Denies Claims that R Kelly Had Sex With Underage Singer!!!

Aaliyah’s mother denies claims R Kelly did not have sex with underage singer.  Diane Haughton is very adamant about the allegations that Kelly took advantage of her daughter. Apparently, the allegations that Jovante Cunningham, R Kelly’s back up dancer claims happened between Kelly and Aaliyah are not true.

People magazine was able to obtain a statement made by Aaliyah’s mom. It appears that Diane was livid about the recent allegations of what took place between Kelly and her daughter, the late R & B singer, Aaliyah. One of Kelly’s alleged back up singers, Jovante Cunningham admitted she witness Kelly having sex with underage Aaliyah on a tour bus. The allegedly sexual act was revealed by Jovante on a docu series, Surviving R Kelly which aired on Life Time TV last night. Diane addressed Jovante’s allegations. Here is some of what Diane said:

“My husband and I were always on tour with [Aaliyah] an at interviews and every place she went throughout her entire career,” the statement reads. “Whoever this woman is [who is making the allegations], I have never seen her before anywhere on planet earth, until now.”

Aaliyah’s Mother Responds Emotionally

Diane is really upset about the current spotlight on Kelly’s and Aaliyah’s relationship. Who could blame her. She did lose her daughter in a fatal plane crash. It must be difficult to relive all that was said about her daughter. It makes it seem that Aaliyah was left alone to fend off Kelly’s alleged advances. When according to Diane she someone from her family was always there to protect Aaliyah.
