These allegations about Jay-Z and Diddy raping a 13-year-old girl back in 2000 surfaced. At the time of the incident, the woman ‘Jane Doe’ claims the two hip-hop moguls raped her after a MTV award show.
Jay-Z’s court filing, filed by his attorney Alex Spiro, states that Tony Buzbee did not conduct a thorough investigation. In other words, Tony Buzbee may not have all the facts about the incident.
Also, according to an interview with NBC News, Jay-Z wants the lawsuit thrown out. He claims there are photos of him at a Lotus nightclub in Manhattan after the VMAs.
Therefore, the allegations contradict his whereabouts, suggesting he was at a white residence in a gated community.
In addition, Jay-Z claims ‘Jane Doe’s’ father picked the 13-year-old girl up after the assault. Furthermore, the journey would have taken 10 hours if Jay-Z had been there.
Even the alleged victim admits she made some mistakes in her interview, as stated by Rolling Stone.
Lastly, Jay-Z’s attorney seeks to have U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres impose monetary sanctions on Tony Buzbee. They claim that Buzbee failed to vet the woman’s story properly.
