The well-known YouTuber was arrested in Texas and has recently been arrested for animal cruelty, sending shockwaves through the community. In addition, the charges claim he used a deadly weapon, as stated by Complex. He is currently in custody at Lon Evans Corrections Center. He has not been given a bond at this time.
This can be a massive problem for the comedian/YouTuber. His fall from grace as a public figure has been swift and severe, especially since he was not given bail.
Shocking Allegations Emerge in Texas
This is not Charleston’s first arrest for claims he was cruel to animals. In December 2022, Charleston was arrested for animal cruelty and two accounts of aggravated assault.
Details are a little sketchy because the charges are similar. In the first allegation, Charleston was accused of torturing a cat by pepper spraying it.
As you can see, Charleston’s cases paint a disturbing picture of neglect and abuse towards animals in his possession. As more details come to light, the severity of the accusations becomes increasingly evident.
In his defense of the animal cruelty, Charleston shared this,
“The animal charge, somebody sent a screenshot of a cat, said I done something to a cat. I don’t know what that’s about,”
Charleston is in for the fight of his life if he is convicted. Animal cruelty charges come with a sentence of 6-3- years. There is a possibility Charleston could have a hard time.
