California Judge Deems PnB Rock’s Killer Incompetent To Stand Trial. In a recent development, a California judge has ruled that the individual accused of killing rapper PnB Rock is incompetent to stand trial. The decision comes after a mental health evaluation deemed the defendant unfit to participate in legal proceedings due to their mental state.

The California judge presiding over the case claims that the juvenile does not understand the proceedings. And, at the time of the Philadelphia rapper’s death, the juvenile was 17 years old.

Although we don’t know the nature of the alleged killer’s mental state, his inability is noted. So, what that means is the individual’s ability to participate in the legal process is impeded.

PnB Rock was gunned down while eating with his finance, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Roscoe Chicken and Waffles restaurant was the apparent scene of the crime.

Some reports suggest the juvenile was tipped off at PnB Rock’s location. That was when an incident involving PnB Rock and the juvenile occurred.

It does not appear that PnB Rock did anything to provoke the robbery. According to XXL Mag, PnB Rock was allegedly found with a gun that was in his waist.

But there were no shots fired from PnB Rock’s gun. This alleged information came out during a hearing with the juvenile.

Having said this, the juvenile allegedly stole expensive jewelry from the rapper.

Mental Health Evaluation Deems Defendant Unfit

It appears Rakim Allen, aka PnB Rock’s alleged killer’s evaluation, deems him mentally incompetent. Therefore, there could be a delay in the trial.

Or the charges against the juvenile may be reduced. At first, the charges were premeditated murder. But the juvenile’s father, Freddie Tone, claims he did not give the hit on PnB Rock.

The juvenile’s stepmother was also charged with being an accessory. Shauntel Trone allegedly has taken a plea deal. Therefore, she is being charged with two counts of robbery and conspiracy to rob PnB Rock.

It was determined that the defendant’s mental health issues were significant enough to render them incapable of participating in the trial.

This evaluation played a crucial role in the judge’s decision to deem the defendant incompetent.
