According to All Hip Hop, 42 Dugg, whose real name is Dion Marquise Hayes, was arrested in early March.
Rapper 42 Dugg is serving time for “prison evasion.”
Dion Hayes, aka 42 Dugg, may have been railroaded in this bizarre case.
Because it was said if he took a plea, Hayes could avoid a five-year prison stint.
The original issue started back in November 2019.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives received a tip that Hayes had fired a weapon.
Allegedly Hayes fired this weapon at an Atlanta gun range.
At the time, Hayes was a convicted felon. Therefore he was not allowed to have firearms.
Ultimately, Hayes was arrested and charged with felony firearms possession in March 202.
After his court hearing, Hayes took an alleged plea.
He was only supposed to get six months. But that did not happen.
Fast forward, Hayes claims he did not receive fair treatment by counsel.
As a result, he is still behind bars.
