Omari Hardwick Speaks Out On His Salary When He Starred On Power
Omari Hardwick is speaking out on his pay while on Power, saying he never go what he wanted.
And he was clearly the main attraction when the highly successful show first aired on Starz.
In fact, he remained the highlight of all 6 seasons of Power.
He felt like he had made it when he took on the role of James St. Patrick.
After six seasons, the show is still strong across several spin-offs.
But despite the fact that the Power franchise is highly successful, the star was only paid $150,000 per episode.
Hardwick went on to say that he even borrowed money from 50 Cent a couple of times during the first couple of seasons.
Hardwick Says He ‘Never’ Got The Money He Believes He Deserved
Even by the final season, Hardwick says he was still not paid his worth.
During an appearance on The Pivot podcast, he stated how much he actually made –
“How much do you think I made a week? An episode?”
After one host guessed, $150,00 per episode, Omari confirmed 0
“You got it right, yeah…first time I’ve ever disclosed it.”
50 Cent gave Omari Hardwick (Ghost) money early on during Power to make sure his family was taken care of.

However, as for whether he’s now making what he deserves, the 48-year-old actor says “it’s happening now”…finally.
Since his role in Power ended, Omari has been plenty busy with other projects, including Army Of The Dead, where he plays Vanderohe.
Additionally, he has two film projects in post-production, Fels High and The Mother.
