Growing Up Hip Hop ATL is a reality show that deals with the up and downs of kids in the hip hop industry. It stars Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, protege of Jermaine Dupri and DaBrat, Shaniah Mauldin, daughter of Jermaine Dupri, Joaquin “Waka Flocka Flame”, son of Debra Atney, Ayana Fite, daughter Of DJ Hurricane, Brandon Barnes, Godson of Debra Atney, Joann “Buku Abi” Kelly, daughter of R. Kelly and Andrea Kelly, and Henree “Reemarkable” Wright, daughter of Eric “Easy E Wright”. Growing Up Hip Hop ATL deals with the ups and downs of being a child in the hip hop industry, whether its living up to the expectations of being as good or better then their parents, having a relationship with your family members or significant others, and going to school or starting businesses while doing it.

Shad “Bow Wow” Moss

Bow Wow is no stranger to the hip hop scene, being as he had been in the hip hop scene since the age of 3. He is a rapper, actor, and producer, most recently produced and acted in a TV One movie called “In Broad Daylight” which is about a women who was kidnapped by her abusive ex-boyfriend and the heroic efforts of her cousin (Bow Wow), and family to rescuing her. He is also the father of a beautiful daughter named Shai Moss, with Joie Chavis.

Shaniah Mauldin

Shaniah Mauldin, a former child model is the daughter of Jermaine Dupri, is a pre-med double major psychology/chemistry college student at The University of Miami, and also has a blog with her boyfriend, Willie as well as a children’s clothing line with her mother.

Joaquin “Waka Flocka Flame”Malpurs

Joaquin “Waka Flocka Flame” is the son of music manager Debra Atney. He is a former rapper and now manager to his wife Tammy Rivera-Malpurs. His is also a step-father to Rivera’s daughter Charlie.

Ayana Fite

Ayana Fite is the daughter of DJ Hurricane, who is best known for his work as a DJ for The Beastie Boys. She is a fashion designer and the niece of Debra Atney.

Brandon Barnes

Brandon Barnes is the godson of Debra Atney. He is a vocal coach and maybe training to be a firefighter, which is cause for speculation this season. He also is beefing with almost everyone this season.

Joann “Buku Abi” Kelly

Joann “Buku Abi” Kelly is the daughter of R. Kelly and Andrea Kelly. She is a singer/songwriter like her father. This season show her coming out of her shell and make it in the industry with the “Kelly” name as well as dealing with the internet trolls taunting her about her father’s legal woes.

Henree “Reemarkable” Wright

Henree “Reemarkable” Wright is new to GUHHATL. She is the daughter of hip hop legend Eric “Easy E” Wright and is an up and coming rapper and wants to make it without just being known as Easy E’s daughter.
