Surviving R. Kelly Gets The Third Installment On Lifetime
Surviving R. Kelly is a groundbreaking series that debuted back in 2019.
It helped to bring criminal charges against the disgraced singer from Chicago for charges of sexual misconduct.
The R&B singer has been plagued with accusations spanning 30 years, even beating charges in court (twice).
However, his alleged conduct finally catches up with him again when he finds himself arrested in July 2019.
A new installment in the Surviving R. Kelly series is about to hit Lifetime.
The network released the new trailer for the 2-night event titled Surviving R. Kelly Part III: The Closing Chapter.
Right now, Robert Sylvester Kelly is still behind bars serving a 30-year sentence.
The new episodes feature details described as unspeakable that were never shared with the public before.

So What Is The New Installment Going To Reveal?
According to a press release, this is how it will go down.
First, the documentary event follows Azriel Clary, who testifies against the 55-year-old musician at his trials.
Additionally, explanations are given as to the reason Aaliyah’s name was brought up in court, and the charges he is convicted of –
- racketeering
- sexual exploitation of a child
- bribery
- sex trafficking
Describing the second night, the voices and testimonies of dozens of victims, which reveal new details from new survivors not previously heard about.
In the trailer, you can hear one person saying –
“This is something unprecedented in the history of popular music with, I believe, hundreds of victims, I now know 69.”
“Kelly will go down in the history of music as the worst criminal predator ever.”

R. Kelly was found guilty of nine counts in a New York City courtroom in September of 2021.
Also, in September of 2022, he was again convicted.
This time, on three of four counts of production of child pornography and three of five counts of enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Ending with victim impact statements, the powerful series will conclude with the final verdict being read against Kelly.
