Male R&B Artist. When we think of R&B so many great singers come to mind. But how do you pick which was is the best? Who gets the coveted spot of being the G.O.A.T.?

In every era, I can remember male R&B artists who have made a great impact on music. For as long as I can remember R&B has been a cultural mainstay for many.

There is some more memorable music artist which stands out for me. One of my all-time favorite R&B male singers would be Luther Vandross.

However, let me just say, Peabo Bryson, Johnny Gill, Barry White, and  Philip Bailey have some of the greatest voices of all time.

Needless to say, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, El Debarge, and Teddy Pendegrass are in a league of all their own. Of course, this is in my opinion.

However, according to Liveabout, I am onto something.

Now, if I was to talk about male R&B artist today, Usher, Chris Brown, Tyrese, and embattled singer Robert Kelly get my vote. Although, R. Kelly’s music has been band. And rightfully so.

Overall, each of these male music artists has impacted the way in which we listen to R&B. I am certain some of these males are your choices, as well.

Certainly, you have all listened to a Luther Vandross and thought wow. How in the world did Luther make the re-make of a song his own. Also, you may have listened to Chris Brown and said, he has an old soul.
