She originally filed the lawsuit against Metro Boomin in 2024, according to Hip Hop DX. In the lawsuit, Vanessa claims she took an xanax and blacked out in Metro’s studio.
However, Metro Boomin vehemently denies Vanessa’s claims. Metro Boomin claims this is a “shakedown.” Both parties have been in mediation to try to settle the lawsuit.
Additionally, both admitted they had a sexual relationship. But Metro claims their relationship was consensual.
Metro Boomin’s Day In Court
Leland Wayne is about to have his day in court, according to Yahoo. As we mentioned earlier, Vanessa has alleged that Metro Boomin impregnated her.
A settlement has not been reached between Vanessa and Metro Boomin. On September 23, 2025, the trial date is to begin.
Court filings revealed by Billboard from August 11 showed that the mediation fell apart. As the civil trial is set to begin, fans are eagerly awaiting.
