Yahoo reports that protesters have gathered outside Young Thug’s RICO trial. These protesters feel that Jeffrey Williams, aka Young Thug, is on trial for alleged involvement in Racketeering.
The trial has continued for so long that some think YG is not getting a fair trial. Therefore, those supporting YG have decided to protest outside the courthouse.
On October 25, 2024, supporters assembled at the Fulton County Courthouse. Organizer Ten Wilkerson assembles more than 20 protesters in support of YG.
Ten Wilkerson traveled from Chicago to support the Atlanta rapper. She admits she has been closely watching the trial since December.
As we all know, Young Thug has been on trial since November 2023. At this point, Ten is suggesting there should be a mistrial.
According to Fox 5 News, the trial was the longest in Georgia’s history.

Activists Rally For Justice In RICO Trial
It is possible that the judge has heard the protesters’ cries. A mistrial could be called very soon.
Judge Paige Reese Whitaker dismissed everyone for the day, and reports say there was no explanation. Defense attorneys met with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
They also met with Chief Deputy District Attorney Adrianne Love on Thursday, which may indicate that the trial may end.
Some protesters shared that they are concerned about “safeguarding the principles of justice and fairness that underpin the legal system.”
That is their primary concern. At the same time, they were careful to say their protest was not about Young Thug.
Either way, protesters are at the courthouse rallying for justice and fairness. Hopefully, the judge will make a decision soon.
