NBA YoungBoy Wins People Champ Award

NBA YoungBoy Wins People Champ Award. The rapper has been crowned by fans. This award is given by XXL Magazine each year.

NBA YoungBoy Was Selected From 21 Other Candidates

NBA YoungBoy Wins People Champ Award. The vote took place on January 30th. And, NBA YoungBoy was victorious.

21 Savage, Doja Cat, Future, Cardi B, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Yeat, and Lil Baby were also in the running.

According to XXL Mag, the choice was easy for fans. Especially because, he dropped over eight projects in 2022.

Some of his projects included mixtapes and compilations on albums. For instance, NBA YoungBoy’s two projects: Colors and The Last Slimeto and The Lost Files did very well.

In fact, Colors and The Last Slimeto went gold by selling 5000,000 copies. And, he teamed up with last year’s winner Nicki Minaj on “I Admit.”

We learned that fellow rappers, Pusha T, Yo Gotti, Future, and Jadakiss took part in the selection.

Having said this, NBA YoungBoy has not issued a statement. But I am sure he is excited.

After all, this is a prestigious award. Kentrell Gaulden has made his mark in hip-hop.

What’s up next for the rapper? Perhaps, he will venture into movies.

Nevertheless, NBA YoungBoy has proven his worth to fans. For they have chosen him to receive this accolade.

Not only that, NBA YoungBoy signed with Motown Records in 2022. At this time, terms of his contract have not been revealed.

Hopefully, the 23-year-old rapper’s contract is lucrative. Atlanta Records was his former record company.

Apparently, he fulfilled his obligation with them. Therefore, fans can look forward to new music this year.

However, there are plans for him to work with hometown rappers, as reported by Revolt.
