Tory Lanez is still being accused of harassing Megan, as stated by TMZ. She was in court before a judge to request a restraining order.
The restraining order filed by Megan suggests Tory has enlisted the help of those on social media to harass her. In the article by Variety, this was said concerning the case,
“Megan claims Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson) has been harassing her from behind bars as he serves a 10-year sentence stemming from a July 2020 incident where he shot at her feet. Judge Richard Bloom confirmed the order on Thursday, writing that Megan had “sustained burden of proof” to grant the motion.
Megan’s request for a restraining order described Lanez as a “violent and dangerous criminal” with an “established pattern of behavior [demonstrating] the reasons this civil harassment restraining order is necessary to protect Ms. Pete and her wellbeing.” Before this filing, Megan under an order that was only in effect from 2020 through 2023.”
Even Megan admits that she thought this incident would be over; however, Tory allegedly continues to taunt her with his harassment.
This restraining order will hopefully ensure her peace of mind and safety. For some, it is hard to believe Tory can harrass Megan from behind bars.
However, Judge Richard Bloom has granted Megan the restraining order, which must prove that people are harassing her on Tory’s behalf.
