Katt’s Peers Address His Controversial Interview With Shannon Sharp. Comedian Katt Williams has found himself in hot water following a controversial interview with former NFL star turned sports analyst Shannon Sharp. Known for his quick wit and sharp tongue, he sparked outrage with his candid remarks during the interview. Many viewers and fans were left shocked by his allegations and comments, leading to a backlash on social media platforms.

During the interview with Shannon, Katt did not hold back when.
He talked about comedians Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and Kevin Hart.
Then he discussed Tiffany Haddish, Ludacris, and Ice Cube.
During the three-hour interview, Katt spoke about Hollywood’s dark side.
According to The Shaderoom, Shannon was surprised to hear Katt let loose.
However, Shannon did not stop Katt from blasting Steve, Kevin, Tiffany, and Cedric.
It may not have done any good if Shannon did try to stop Katt.
Especially since what Katt revealed was very believable to some fans.
If Shannon had an issue with Katt naming comedians, he could have blocked him.
Or he could have steered the conversation in another direction.
Instead, Shannon allegedly laughed out loud as Katt allegedly exposed Kevin Hart.
There was so much during that interview that it was hard to unpack.
Highlighting some of the conversation was necessary.
His unfiltered and often controversial remarks left many listeners stunned.
Moreover, Katt’s comments about Kevin, Tiffany, and Cedric were critical.
Here is some of what Katt allegedly accused Cedric of doing, as stated by Yahoo News,
“He thought that I was just a no-name comedian, and that he could take this joke and nobody would know. The issue was that I had already done this particular joke on BET’s ComicView twice,” Williams explained. “Cedric comes to The Comedy Store, he watches me in the audience, he comes backstage, he tells me what a great job I did and how much he loves the joke. Two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on The Kings of Comedy, and he’s doing it verbatim; he’s just changed my car into a spaceship.”
He claimed Tiffany hadn’t proven herself as a comedian and questioned her comedic skills.
If that wasn’t enough, he allegedly called Kevin the ‘industry plant.’
These comments triggered an intense backlash from fellow comedians.
As Katt continued the interview, other names were mentioned: Ricky Smiley, Michael Blackson, and rapper Trick Daddy.
By now, each person Katt talked about had time to respond.
And some responded with comments that have now caused a backlash toward Katt.
After Katt said this, “That’s how you end up with a Michael Blackson, who’s a real African doing a fake African accent,” Katt said. “This guy is mad at me; I only gave him the best life advice. Remember, he was wearing dirty dashikis. I told him he needed to dress to be in the position that he’s trying to say that he’s in.”
Blackson responded by saying,
“I can’t believe this lying, dehydrated leprechaun said he told me to build a school lmao. I only built a free school so the kids can whip you a** for free modasucka.”
On the other hand, rapper and actor Ludacris rapped a few bars which allegedly addressed Katt.
Remember, Katt said that the Illuminati allegedly approached him and Ludacris Illuminati.
Those comments alone were enough to send the internet into a frenzy.
Then Cedric added to the mix by sharing his thoughts.
“Revisionist History, regardless of whatever Katt’s opinion. My career can’t be reduced to one Katt Williams claims as his. I been in over 40 movies, and my specials and brand speak volumes for I am. The people I have put on including ‘Katt in the Hat.” At the Gibson Amphitheater,” he wrote.
He added, “And all that tough talk is corny af, I’m a grown a** man. And none of that s**t gonna go like you think. You do you and I got this over here.”
That is after Katt allegedly accused Cedric of stealing his comedy material, as stated by WBLS.
Let’s not forget that Katt allegedly accused Steve of stealing all of comedian Mark Curry’s routine.
Shannon Sharp Interview with Katt Williams Sparks Backlash
As controversial as this interview with Katt has gotten, some feel Katt was truthful.
Rapper Ice Cube allegedly came to Katt’s defense as he went live on social media.
Cube spoke about how his movie Friday allowed Katt autonomy.
The comedian (Katt) was given free rein to adlib in character as ‘Money Mike.”
Also, Cube mentioned how he carefully selected comedians for parts of the movie.
Throughout his comments, Cube continued to praise Katt and the other comedians, as stated by The Source.
For the most part, Katt had not backpedaled on any of his comments.
Which, once again, makes us think Katt was telling the truth.
It will be interesting to see if Steve responds to what Katt shared.
At any rate, Shannon and Katt feel the wrath of that controversial interview.
Perhaps Katt intended to bring publicity to comedians.
