These were some shocking allegations made by Jane Doe. At first, Jane Doe only named Sean’ Diddy’ Combs in the lawsuit. However, a few months later, Jane Doe said that Jay-Z allegedly sexually assaulted her, as well.
Both industry titans claimed Jane Doe’s allegations were false. While Diddy is behind bars fighting other allegations (RICO), Jane Doe filed the lawsuit.
But when Jane Doe named Jay-Z, he fought back with rigor. TMZ reported that Diddy and Jay-Z allegedly raped her while an unnamed female watched.
Attorney Tony Buzbee filed the sexual assault lawsuit against Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. That is when Jay-Z fired back with this,
“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” Carter said in a statement to NBC News. “These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”
He was not about to let these allegations go on without a fight. It all paid off because, as USA Today stated, the Jane Doe lawsuit was dropped “with prejudice. ”

Jane Doe decided to drop the lawsuit against Jay-Z and Diddy. The reasons for her sudden change of heart were not immediately clear, leaving some people wondering what happened.
At any rate, attorney Tony Buzbee has stopped pursuing Jay-Z at the request of Jane Doe. In a statement shared with USA Today, Jay-z’s attorney said,
“The false case against JAY-Z, that never should have been brought, has been dismissed with prejudice. By standing up in the face of heinous and false allegations, Jay has done what few can – he pushed back, he never settled, he never paid 1 red penny, he triumphed and cleared his name.”
Alex Spiro was determined to make sure Jay-Z beat the charges. However, he did not get to have a lengthy trial. Instead, the allegations against Jay-Z have been dropped. All along, Alex Spiro and Jay-Z stood on his innocence.
It has paid off in a big way; so far, Jay-Z has not allegedly paid anything to Jane Doe. Oftentimes, these sexual lawsuits can go sideways, in this case it did not.
Despite the lawsuit being dropped, the impact of the accusations could be problematic for Jay-Z’s career. As the dust settles on this chapter of legal drama, I am sure he is sighing with relief.
