Both Drake and Meek Mill have come forward to condemn the recent phone call leak. Young Thug and his girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, were enjoying their visit.
The detailed conversation, intended to be private, was leaked online, and many viewed it. According to Drake and Meek, this is a blatant disregard for the couple’s privacy.
Drake, known for his loyalty to his fellow artists, took to social media to express his disdain. Both rappers are asking for justice for Thugger.
Also, this could be considered a violation of trust and a breach of privacy. According to TMZ, Judge Ural Glanville is receiving backlash for the incident.

In addition, people are questioning if this is a common practice. Also, it is alleged common practice for inmate’s mail to be scrutinized. However, is it a common practice for phone conversations to be leaked?
Drake claims,
“This gotta be some form of jail misconduct,” he commented under a post on Instagram. “You gonna drag this talented man then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain? Somebody benefitted from this video even existing and that’s shameful. [The] whole case is a wash. Just [free] the guy and let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta.”
Having said this, will this incident have any bearing on Thugger’s case, Which has become such a debacle? It seems that Thugger’s case is being dragged out unnecessarily.
According to Revolt, Thugger was arrested in May of 2022. He and several others from the YSL alleged gang were charged on RICO—some of the others, including Gunna.
Gunna was able to take a plea agreement. Now, Gunna is free to pursue his rap career. On the other hand, Thugger is embroiled in a lengthy court battle.
This leak conversation is not suitable for the Fulton County justice system.
