Kanye West Alleges Adidas Is Selling Fake Yeezy Sneakers. West, the famous rapper and fashion designer, has recently claimed Adidas has released ‘fake Yeezys’ sneakers. Yeezy sneakers are highly sought after and have a cult following. So, if Adidas sells fakes, this will not go over well with Kanye fans.

According to Business Insider, Adidas has an alleged inventory of $300 million. Therefore, Adidas claims they are going to release their stock regardless.

However, Kanye West took to social media to express his disappointment with Adidas. And he wants to be allegedly compensated for Adidas selling his sneakers.

As we all know, Kanye and Adidas had a lucrative business partnership. But their partnership ended in October 2022.

Reports by Bossip shared Adidas allegedly ended their business dealing with Kanye because of his Anti-Semitic comments.

Until the resolution of the business relationship, Kanye was heavily involved in the design process of his Yeezy line.

It seems that he was blindsided by the alleged release of counterfeit products bearing his name. Perhaps Adidas has released the alleged ‘fake Yeezys’ because of financial loss.

Whether or not Kanye’s claims are proper remains to be seen. Having said this, Adidas intends to sell all of its sneakers inventory throughout this year.

As a result, Kanye is counteracting by claiming the sneakers are not authentic.

Will people still buy the alleged ‘fake Yeezys?’ Or will people leave the once-popular sneaker on shells?
