Cardi B Russia-Ukraine Comments Highlight What Many Are Feeling Right Now

Rapper and songwriter Cardi B (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) has thoughts on the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Described as a ‘brutal act of war’ by the AP, this development has a big effect on all of us.

And yeah, the “WAP” singer is feeling some type of way.

And she took to social media to let you know what’s on her mind.

As a matter of fact, it’s on a lot of people’s minds right now.

If you’ve been anywhere near a t.v. or radio the last few weeks, you know the political climate.

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin made good on his threat to invade Ukraine.

That left Cardi feeling like she had to let people know how she was feeling.

Cardi B. states that she is not on NATO’s side.

However, she is not on Russia’s side either.

But declared she is on the side of the citizen.

In a video posted to Twitter, she made these remarks –

“At the end of the day, the world is having a crisis now.”

“Not only in America, but everywhere in the world.”

Weighing in on the effect these issues are causing on the economy, she added –

“This sh*t just made it more complicated. I’m really just annoyed by this.”

“I really wish that all world leaders just really come with a logical conclusion…but, whatever.”

Using her huge platform to voice her thoughts on the situation has come to mixed reviews.
