Boxing great Marvin Hagler dead at 66. I can vividly remember Marvin’s famous fight with Sugar Ray Leonard. But there is no denying how powerful Marvin’s punches were.

Back when boing was a very spectacular event, this man dominated his weight class. Some of the biggest names in boxing stood in the ring with Marvin.

Of course, these boxers were great in their own right. One of my all time favorite boxers Sugar Ray Leonard won against Marvin.

Unfortunately, the fight with Sugar Ray is what caused Marvin to quit boxing for good, as reported by ESPN. We must not forget Marvin’s other opponents such as, Thomas “The Hit Man” Hearns, and Roberto Duran.

In the 1980’s these men made the game of boxing exciting to watch. Be that as it may, boxing has lost one of the best. Marvin’s wife posted a message on his Facebook fan page.

Here is what Kay said to his fans:

“I am sorry to make a very sad announcement,” she wrote. “Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

With that said, we don’t know what Marvin died from. However, Marvin had just received the Covid – 19 vaccination prior to his untimely death. Let’s keep his family in prayer. Rest in Power Champ!!!
