Rapper Young Scooter Killed In Atlanta. The world of hip-hop was shaken to its core when news broke of the tragic death of rising star rapper Young Scooter. Known for his gritty lyrics and charismatic stage presence, Young Scooter had quickly risen through the ranks of the Atlanta rap scene to become a household name in the music industry. His untimely passing has left fans and fellow artists mourning the loss of a talented musician taken too soon.
Rising Star: Young Scooter’s Musical Journey

Young Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Bailey, Jr., began his musical journey in Atlanta, Georgia. His unique style and raw lyrics quickly caught the attention of industry insiders.
He was one of rapper Future’s premier artists and quickly made a name for himself. In 2012, Young Scooter created the hit song “Free Bricks 2.”
Shortly after, Young Scooter created a mixtape with Gucci Mane, Future WG, and Lil Boosie. His mixtape garnered him some success in the hip-hop world.
Unfortunately, Young Scooter died on his 39th birthday. According to TMZ, Young Scooter was allegedly fleeing from police when he severely injured his leg.
Some reports say Young Scooter was seen trying to jump over a fence when the incident happened.
Tragic Incident: Rapper Killed in Atlanta
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his death, as stated by Variety. Even though Young Scooter was rushed to a nearby hospital, Grady Trauma Center, he died.
At this time, there have been no reports of an autopsy being done. However, Young Scooter allegedly succumbed to his injury. Details of the event are a bit sketchy at best.
It does not appear that police shot Young Scooter. Atlanta fans are reeling with the news of Young Scooter’s death.
Especially since he was a hugely popular rapper in the ATL, if you know anything about southern hip-hop, you know who Young Scooter is.
In an interview with Complex (2013), Young Scooter described his music as “count music.”
He elaborated by saying,
“I don’t really care what I say on a beat as long as it’s about some money,” he said. “When you try to think hard and write it out, that’s when it’s gonna be fucked up.”
Waka Flocka and Future helped Young Scooter with his career goals. However, we have not heard from either Waka or Future so far.
