The Game’s Legal Troubles

Jayceon Terrell Taylor has had his fair share of legal issues. From assault charges to lawsuits, the rapper has often found himself in hot water.

However, the $7 million judgment against him is one of his most considerable financial setbacks. This judgment stems from a sexual assault case in which The Game was found liable for damages.

Priscilla Rainey sued him back in 2015, claiming he had sexually assaulted her, as stated by Complex. The judgment was entered because The Game decided to skip a few court hearings.

In August 2015, the reality TV show “She Got Game” aired on VH1. Contestants were chosen to date the rapper.

That is when Priscilla made SA  allegations against the Compton rapper. To refresh your memories, The Game was one of 50 Cent’s crew of rappers, “G-Unit.”

Dr. Dre and Interscope Records were instrumental in placing The Game in the rap group. Wiki said Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and The Game had a conflict.

Then, The Game left Interscope Records and signed with Universal’s Interscope Geffen A&M.

In other words, The Game became a solo artist. As his career evolved, The Game found success with albums” LAX” (2004) and ” The R.E.D.” (2010).

$7 Million Judgement

Last October,  The Game was ordered to satisfy the judgment against him of $7,130 100.00. US District Judge Mark C. Scarsi asked the rapper to come to court to protest the sale of his property.

However, The Game allegedly tried to sell the property to his manager, Wack 100. But that did not work out, so The Game’s Calabasas home will be sold.

Although The Game was adamant about his innocence, it was useless. To make matters worse, The Game allegedly tried hiding assets, as BET stated.

Priscilla’s persistence has paid off. Having said this, the amount the home is worth is allegedly around $4 million. As we all know, the judgment against The Game is for over $7 million.

Until this point, The Game’s music royalties, around $400,ooo were given to Priscilla. The Game may have to sell off other assets, such as cars and valuables.

At this point, it is not looking good for The Game. A judgment of this magnitude could bankrupt him. Only time will tell how he will recover from this huge judgment.
