However, when two former collaborators turn against each other, the stakes are raised to a new level. Such is the case with Cam’ron and Jim Jones, two New York-bred rap artists who once stood shoulder to shoulder as members of the iconic group “The Diplomats. “But now, a diplomatic war erupted as Cam’ron fires shots at Jim Jones, igniting a feud with fans and industry insiders on the edge of their seats.
The Diplomatic Showdown Begins

The tension between Cam’ron and Jim Jones has been simmering for quite some time. It has been questionable why the rap group “Diplomat aka Dipset “broke up.
Each former member has allegedly spoken on their group’s demise. As reported by Vibe, in a recent interview on Respectfully, Jim appeared to diss Cam’ron,
“Them n -ggas be on my dick. Them n-ggas aint’t got nothing else to think about Capo. He further elaborated, “Get off my dick! It’s only space on there for baby girl. Come on, man. Tugging on my shit like that.”
Jim went on to say,
“That n–ga couldn’t pull nothing together. He couldn’t do nothing with me. He couldn’t tell me nothing, n-gga.” He emphasized his independence, declaring, “I was my own boss […] I did what I wanted to do.”
Need we say more? That interview got back to Cam’ron, and all hell broke loose. While opening their season of “It Is What It Is,” Killah Cam fired back with this,
“Everybody knew [Children of the Corn] was gonna get a record deal, ni**a, it wasn’t no secret,” Cam stated. “Basically, you heard our freestyles. And you came up to me one day when I was chilling in front of Hajji’s saying…’Yo, man I heard the freestyle, man, y’all killing sh*t. If y’all wanna come through, come through.’ We was like, ‘Alright, Jomo, thanks.’ It didn’t really make sense at the time. ‘Why we going to Jomo house?’ Cool. One day, I stop at Jomo house…his grandmother died, God bless the dead. And he had a free crib so yeah.”
Killah Cam’s rant went deep, addressing many of Jim’s allegations. He also reminded Jim that he was not his childhood friend and claimed Jim did not grow up in Harlem but in Brooklyn.
For the most part, fans thought the former Dipset members were both from Harlem. However, as Killah Cam shared, we discovered this is not true.
Nevertheless, Dipset, who consisted of Juelz Santana, Cam’ron, and Jim Jones, are no longer bandmates.
Cam’ron Claims He And Ma$e Taught Jim Jones To Rap
Killah Cam was making sure we all knew Jim was a fan. And, if it were not for him and rapper Ma$e, Jim would not have known how to rap.
Then he played some clips from Jim admitting it was Ma$e who hip him to rapping. He put any rumors that Jim was head of their Dipset to rest.
Of course, Jim tells a different story than Killah Cam. Incredibly, two very successful hip-hop artists cannot find common ground.

They have periodically done this throughout the years. Unfortunately, because of their beef, there may not be a reunion. This is mainly because Jim speaks so negatively about Killah Cam.
To make matters worse, Killah Cam claims Jim continues to hurt rather than help other rappers. In other words, he suggests that Jim tried to run French Montana out of the game.
Shots Fired: The Feud Escalates
As the feud between Cam’ron and Jim Jones escalated, shots were fired from both sides. Jim Jones’s interview has reignited the flames we thought had died down.
But as you can see, Jim won’t let the feud between him and Killah Cam end. The back-and-forth between the two artists has reached a fever pitch.
This can turn into an all-out war of words between the two. At this point, Jim has not responded to Killah Cam’s rant on his sports podcast.
The feud seems to have no end, with their former friendship hanging in the balance. As it continues to play out in the public eye, we don’t know if the men will come to blows.
Be that as it may, Killah Cam is doubling down. At the same time, Jim is doing the same.
