TMZ said the news of his pardoning Southwest happened eight days ago. However, Southwest’s mother allegedly let the cat out of the bag, so to speak.
There is no more speculation because Southwest posted a picture on Instagram. In the IG post, Southwest is shown with someone taking off his ankle monitor.
He exclaimed,
“Now it’s official! [Lucille Flenory,] I understand you were excited, so last week you let the cat out the bag [laughs]. It’s been a journey, but prayer and unwavering faith beyond mere human comprehension got us to this point,”
The former drug kingpin had been wearing the ankle monitor for 4-years. Now, he is free of the weight of wearing it. Southwest and his brother Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory were indicted in 2005, as Wiki stated.
They were accused of being the masterminds in this criminal enterprise. Black Mafia Family was alleged to have sold cocaine and laundered money. This sophisticated crime allegedly distributed drug sales throughout the US.
Although Los Angeles was their base, they had hubs in Atlanta. According to Revolt, the two brothers built an empire spanned multiple states. After allegedly establishing a criminal drug empire, they entered the music business.
In the early 2000s, their music entertainment company was where hip-hop artist Bleu DaVinci started. These brothers became famous for their extravagant lifestyles, which put them in the limelight.
But their empire came tumbling down after FEDS indicted the drug organization in 2005. Big Meech and Southwest were convicted and were to serve 30 years behind bars.

He will be serving out the remainder of his sentence in the halfway. Now, Southwest has been pardoned by President Joe Biden.

Perhaps some were unaware of the criminal enterprise the brothers allegedly built. However, rapper Curtis”50 Cent”Jackson created the TV series BMF, which depicted their lives.
The BMF series mostly followed the lives of Big Meech and Southwest. It was exciting that Big Meech’s son was chosen as the main character. No one was more qualified to play Big Meech.
Especially since his son is almost the spitting image of his Dad, BMF was on the Starz network and was one of the most viewed shows. Over 4.1 million people watched as they were taken into the lives of the brothers Flenory.
This show was wildly popular because of its thrilling storylines. 50 Cent G-Unit production captured the intriguing dramatic lives of Big Meech and Southwest.
I digress. The brothers can reunite because of President Joe Biden’s pardon of Southwest. It looks like Christmas has come early for the Big Meech and Southwest.
