Kentrell DeSean Gaulden has frequently been in the media due to his controversial personal life and legal troubles. However, his recent act of kindness has shifted the spotlight onto his charitable side.

After his release in March and the pardon from President Trump, he has changed. It was not long ago that YB “Never Broke Again” was in serious trouble.

Because of his gun possession charge, the young rapper spent 23 months behind bars, as stated by IHeart. Although YB was supposed to still be behind bars, fate would not have it.

An unexpected pardon from President Trump and his legal team helped him. For now, YB is serving a five-year supervised release. In addition, YB has paid a hefty fine of  $200k.

YB shared his gratitude by sharing this.

“I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building—as a man, as a father and as an artist,” he said in a statement. “The moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I’ve worked hard for and I’m fully prepared to step into this.”

The rapper’s unexpected donation caught many by surprise.

The Rapper’s Generous Gesture

NBA YoungBoy’s $50,000 donation is a testament to his commitment to making a positive impact in his community. Now that YB has been released, he is touring.

He hit the stage in Dallas for his “Make American Slime Again” tour. Joining YB on tour are DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo, and K3. The tour is scheduled to hit the following cities: California, Colorado, Arizona, and Florida.

Before the tour is over, NBA Youngboy will be performing in New York and New Orleans. By the way, YB is a native of New Orleans, so ending his tour there is epic.

When YB gave the generous donation to fight violent crime, he admitted,

” You know, a lot of people are getting hurt, so it ain’t really cool at this point to me. I just wanted to help in any way I could.”

Having said this, it appears that YB is turning over a new leaf. At the same time, he is paying his good fortune forward.
