Freeway is facing another family crisis
Leslie “Freeway” Pridgen received a much-needed kidney transplant in 2019. And, his health improved greatly. However, Freeway’s happiness was short-lived. In October 2020 he lost his son was Jihad Pridgen. Unfortunately, Jihad to this day we do not know what happened to his son. But some sources reported that Jihad was killed in a car accident. While others say he died from some sort of drug overdose. What we do know is that Freeway lost his son. When it happened, Freeway wrote this heart-wrenching message
“God knows I try my best to be strong, but this right here is a pain like I never felt,” he wrote next to a photo of him and his son. “Please cherish your time and your love[d] ones because we’re not promised the next breath. I pray Allah forgives my son for all of his sins, and I pray that Allah grants him the highest level of paradise. Amen. Please make dua for him & my family.”
Lossing a child is very devastating. You never fully recover. As parents, we think our children will outlive us. In this case, that did not happen. Now, Freeway is facing yet another crisis. This time it is his daughter. We heard she is suffering from cancer. On Friday, Freeway posted this message
“Goodmorning 🌍 I Need everyone to keep my daughter FTA Harmony in y’all prayers while we rumble this cancer sh*t. 🤲🏾🙏🏾 we are working with some of the best doctors but if anyone has any information that can help us please let me know! Thank you! 🤲🏾🙏🏾💙”
Let’s pray along with Freeway. Freeway we are sending love, light, and prayers for your daughter’s full recovery. Hang in there brother!
