Nick Cannon is making headline news, again. This time Nick has paid of the debt of seven HBCU students. The actor and TV host teamed up with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund along with United Negro College. The students were seen on Nick’s new talk show.
Will Other Celebrities Follow Nick’s Lead?
Nick is a man of many talents. Nick recently launched his new talk show. Which aired on Fox television network. Nick is the host of “The Masked Singer”, and “Wild ‘N Out.” Also, Nick appeared in “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
In addition, Nick has acted in films, “Drumline”, “Shall We Dance”, “Roll Bounce”, and Chi -Raq.” Nick has also dibbled and dabbled as a rapper. Nick worked with Kanye West, P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, and embattled singer R.Kelly. In fact, Nick’s self-titled album was released in 2003. On his daytime talks show, Nick surprised the students, as reported by The Source. Nick informed the students once they have graduated all of the student debt will be wiped out. Hopefully, Nick’s generous contribution to these Historically Black College & Universities students will spread.
In recent years, funding for HBCU’s has dwindled. After hearing what Nick has done, maybe other celebrities will follow suit.
