It’s official! Megan Thee Stallion is beaming with pride. Hot Girl Meg’s debut album Good News was just officially certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

26-year old Meg is having another Hot Girl Summer and wasting no time thanking her fans. While teasing of upcoming projects, she took to Instagram to rave about the news, posting –
“HOTTIESSSS GOOD NEWS IS OFFICIALLY PLATINUM. This is my first platinum album and I’m so proud! I made majority of this album in my living room during quarantine and to see it really do its thing makes me so happy! Thank you everyone involved and most of all thank you hotties for RUNNING IT TF UP Can’t wait for y’all to see what’s next.”
While listening to her first album, we enjoyed guest appearances from Beyonce, DaBaby, City Girls, Lil Durk, SZA, Popcaan, Mustard, Big Sean, 2Chain, and Young Thug. After moving more than 100 thousand units in it’s first week, Good News debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Hot 200 Chart. Additionally, it was at the top of the heap on the Rap Albums chart, and the Top R&B and Hip Hop Albums Chart.
Four singles were produced from Good News, “Girls In The Hood”, “Don’t Stop”, “Body” and “Cry Baby”.
