Percy” Master P” Miller has always stepped up to help his community. As we all know, New Orleans was hit by hurricane Ida last Sunday. As a result, residences suffered damages much like they did when Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast back on August 23, 2005. Hurricane Katrina broke the levees and did all sorts of catastrophic damage. When the winds had settled from Katrina there was not much left. The category 4 storm picked up momentum after hitting the gulf coast. Hurricane Katrina had winds from 115 miles per hour. Much like Hurricane Ida, over 180 lives were lost as reported by NY Times. Now, New Orleans has to rebuild once again. Ironically, Hurricane Ida came 16 years on the anniversary of Katrina. Those in the wake of the storm have been without electrical power for days.
