Rapper Juelz Santana prison sentence is for 27 months. He will then be on probation for about 8 years. The judge in his case gave Juelz less time than he expected. This is good new for the New York rapper and reality TV actor.
Juelz prison sentence could have been more severe
On Wednesday, December 19, 2018 LaRon James aka Juelz Santana was given the prison sentence of a little over 2 years. Juelz plead guilty to weapon possession by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft, according to USA Today. Both charges are considered federal offenses and come with heavy prison sentences. Especially, for a convicted felon. However the judge appeared to be fair in his judgement and gave the rapper a break. The judge could have given Juelz Santana up to 5 years in prison.
