Ice Cube & Tupac Affiliate Gonzoe Dead At 45

We are waking up to some sad news this morning. Rapper   Ronald “Gonzoe” Moore was allegedly gunned down yesterday. Details of the shooting are still a little sketchy. According to reports from the Sun, Gonzoe was shot 3 times somewhere near a Seattle gas station. As a result of his injuries, Gonzoe has died.

Gonzoe Was Part of the rap Trio Kausion

The rap trio was signed to Ice Cube’s Lench Mob Records in 1995. The rap group’s first single “What You Wanna Do” which featured Ice Cube was released. But the group only made one album” South Central Los Skanless” with Ice Cube. However, before the group parted ways the album came in 37th on the Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Charts.

The Kausion performed with the popular rap group “Tha Dogg Pound” in the song “I’ll Do It.” The three rappers  Gonzoe, Cel, and Kaydo disbanded the group in 1996. Gonzoe went solo. And, he had some success with his own music. The song “Lyin” was a popular song with fans. Later,  Gonzoe signed with “Death Row Records” after some kind of money situation between Kausion and Ice Cube. Here is some music from Gonzoe,

What You Wanna Do? (feat. Ice Cube)

Tha Dogg Pound & Kausion – Ill Do It

Gonzoe – You Lyin’ (Music Video)

2Pac – This Life I Lead – (Unreleased OG) – (feat. Gonzoe, Daz, Kurupt & Nutt-So)

Over the years, Gonzoe had evolved. In fact, Gonzoe squashed his beef with Boskoe 100. The former enemies performed in a celebrity bout. Former “Dogg Pound” rapper “Snoop Dogg” hosted the celebrity event. Also, hosts O’God and SamAnt had the pleasure of having Gonzoe as a guest. During this interview, Gonzoe spoke fondly of his late friend Tupac. This is a must-see interview. Our condolence goes out to his family. Rest In Power!!!
