Iced Out Chain. Expensive jewelry and hip-hop go hand and hand. Since the very beginning of hip-hop rappers have worn extremely large chains.

In fact, one of hip-hop’s legendary rappers DJ Kool Herc wore extra- extra large rope chains. Rappers such as LL Cool J, Run D Mc, and others sported ridiculously large gold chains.

As a matter of fact, the trend of wearing expensive jewelry continues today. At the present time, Krishnik “Takeoff” Khari Ball owns one of the most expensive chains.

His “Solar System Chain” cost around $500,000. However, it is not the price but the diamonds which are amazing. Takeoff has one of the most elaborate designs.

This chain has orbs hanging from it that symbolize planets, with a huge diamond-encrusted medallion hanging from a diamond sun, as reported by Rarest.

Of course, Megan Thee Stallion came in a close second. Her 14-karat gold/diamond-encrusted 155-carat chain is worth $425,000.

Also, Megan’s “Hot Girl Necklace” makes her the top female rapper with the most expensive chain.

However, rapper Mike Jones paid $1 million for his “Ice Age Chain”. Although, Takeoff’s chain is quite impressive. Mike Jones’s ice-out chain is incredible.

This round huge medallion with white gold ends with a frosty crown, with diamonds plastered in diamonds. Inside the round medallion are the words, “Ice Age.”

Keep in mind, other rappers like Rick Ross who has a gold medallion with his face are worth $1.5 million.

Then there is rapper/producer Pharrell with his $1 million dollar gold/white diamond, “N.E.R.D. Chain” brought back in 2006 which has the most colorful gemstones.

So, it is Rick”Rozay” Ross who is the boss of iced out chains.
