Ye’s Speech For Diddy At BET Awards

Ye’s Speech For Diddy At BET Awards

Ye’s Speech For Diddy At BET Awards. Music extraordinaire, Sean “Diddy” Combs was finally honored. Kenneth Edmunds aka Babyface spoke.

Did Ye Make His Speech About Him Or Diddy?

Ye’s Speech For Diddy At BET Awards. Kanye”Ye” West surprised his friend. He then presented Combs with the award. However, it was Ye’s speech that is trending on social media.

We have not heard much from Ye recently. So, it was a surprise for us all. But mostly Combs was overjoyed. When Ye hit the stage the crowd went wild.

Not to mention, his fellow entertainers applauded his appearance, as well. And, when he spoke it was clear he loved Combs.

Midway in the speech he took a dig at his wife Kim Kardashian, as reported by E-News.

At least, that is what the media zoned in on. However, I watched the speech. Of course, Ye shared heartfelt words of appreciation for his friend.  Here is some of what Ye said,

“You know I took a little hiatus,” he said. “I said, ‘I want to just, like, declare myself legally dead for a year. Nobody, nobody message me. You know, I just want to be off the grid. And you know, Puff is pretty persistent.”

It appeared that Combs must have requested Ye to speak. Otherwise, it sounded like Ye would not have shown up. Be that as it may, you can see Ye said some very wonderful things about Combs.

But the media tried to make the one comment about his wife the focal point. Having said this, you be the judge. Do you think Ye made it about him or Combs?

To be truthful, I think it was a great tribute to his friend, brother, and mentor. What say you?
