Martin Reunion To Get The Gang All Back Together

Ya’ll ready to see the Martin Reunion special next month?

As we shared with you back in March, the show is a go.

It’s been 30 years that we have all been glued to the small screen to watch Martin and all his antics.

And ironically, we are still tuned in for the reruns…over and over again, it never gets old.

Now, Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, and Carl Anthony Payne are set to reunite on a 90-minute special.

That’s right, Martin, Gina, Cole, and Pam are getting back together to reminisce about the good ol’ days.

The event will go down right on the iconic show’s living room set, as the gang shares their thoughts on the 5 season run.

And let’s not forget Tommy, of course.

Thomas Mikal Ford, who played one of Martin’s best friends, passed away in 2016 at the age of 52.

However, there is a special segment to honor the beloved actor who played the character of Tommy.

You know, the one that ‘ain’t got no job.’

Additionally, included in the show will be musical performances and drop-ins by celebrities.

Many of them were a part of the sitcom.

Scott Mills, the CEO of BET had this to say about the show –

“Martin is one of the most beloved sitcoms in our community both because it is hugely entertaining and because it played a pivotal role in changing the narrative of Black voices in entertainment and in culture through the portrayal of young, ambitious Black leads and healthy Black relationships…”

Along with Robert Lawrence, Rae Proctor, and Stacy Lyles, Martin Lawrence will serve as an executive producer of the reunion special.

All through his company, Run Tel Dat Entertainment.

Fans can’t wait to see what all the cast members have been up to since Martin ended.

Hosted by comedian Affion Crockett, the 30th-anniversary special, Martin: The Reunion will be available to watch starting on June 16th on BET+.
