Tiger Woods is coming back to the green! Well, sort of. The golf icon is ready to show he still got it on the golf turf.
Tiger Woods Announces His Return To The Golf Course
After a 10-month ordeal, Golf Legend Tiger Woods is making his way back to the green.
Already suffering from injuries and recent back surgery, the golf pro was in a horrific car accident back in February of this year.
Among other injuries, he broke his leg.
And was nearly contemplating amputation, as he had comminuted open fractures.
Yeah, it was that bad.
Well, that didn’t happen. Fast forward to today, and Woods has announced that he is returning to the golf course he loves so much.
Tiger Woods has signed up for the PNC Championship Event to take place next week.
And he will be joined by his son, Charlie.
Of his return, Woods had this to say –
“Although it’s been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the PNC Championship with my son Charlie. I’m playing a Dad and couldn’t be more excited and proud.”
This will mark his first competition on the court since the crash.
Among the golfers, he will be competing against Jon Daly, Justin Thomas, and Bubba Watson in a 36-hole event.
The last time Tiger Woods and his son Charlie competed at this event was in 2020, where they came in 7th place.
We’ll see how they fare this time around.
It’s all going down in Orlando, Florida next week on December 16th.
