Rapper The Weeknd teases his performance in HBO Max’s musical drama series, The Idol.
This 6-episode miniseries is an HBO original series, billed as the ‘sleaziest love story in all of Hollywood’.
According to the trailer, get ready to see plenty of sex, and Hollywood party people.
The singer/songwriter/record producer (real name Abel MakkonenTesfaye) is actually wearing several hats.
Not only is he starring in this series, but he’s also actually one of the creators, along with Reza Fahim and Sam Levinson.
Additionally, Tesfaye is an executive producer.
Set in California, the show is is exploring all aspects of life in Hollywood.
