SZA Celebrates The Success Of Her ‘SOS’ Tour After The Final Stop
SZA celebrates the last show of her ‘SOS Tour‘.
But, alas, her final show is done.
Taking place at the Los Angeles’ The Forum, she closed out two shows on March 22 and 23 in 90-minute sets.
And Omar Apollo, her opening act, was along for the ride.
He actually gave a headline-worthy show of his own.
As reported by Billboard, Wednesday’s show delivered one of the most compelling and detailed live shows in recent memory.
With a feel of opening night excitement and energy, the stars came out in droves.
In attendance included Justin and Hailey Bieber, Adele, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and many more.
Speaking to Billboard, SZA makes it known that she wanted her show to feel like a Broadway show… and that it did.
From her numerous speedy costume changes, choreography set changes, and performance that included her sailing over the crowd in a lifeboat, the show was spectacular.
SZA – real name Solána Imani Rowe – left it all out there on the stage to the delight of her followers.
Surviving the waves and her lifeboat are constant themes throughout.
Blending cuts from CTRL and SOS effortlessly to tell a story, she left no one unsatisfied.
As the show ends, SZA gives a casual, almost unnoticed goodbye to the fans strolling toward the exits –
“Genuinely, thank you, I never thought I would be here.”
Her final song, ‘Good Days‘.
