Spotify Unveiling ‘The Gold Standard Art’ Female Rappers Exhibit. In a groundbreaking move that has sent ripples through the hip-hop community, Spotify has unveiled a new exhibit shining a spotlight on the Queens of Hip-Hop. This historic exhibition, aptly titled “The Gold Standard” Exhibit,” pays homage to the hip-hop’s newest female rappers on the block. These female rappers have made a name for themselves in the hip-hop genre. From paving the way for future generations to challenging societal norms, these trailblazers have shaped the landscape of hip-hop in ways that continue to resonate today.

This generation of female rappers stands on the shoulders of those who pioneered the game. Female rappers such as Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, and MC Lyte paved the way for their success.
Also, we can’t forget to mention Foxy Brown, Eve, Monie Love, Missy Elliott, and Rah Digga. Without these and so many more female rappers, hip-hop female MCs would not exist.
Having said this, Spotify has sponsored portraits of female hip-hop newcomers. We must emphasize ‘newcomers’ because some are just starting.
While others have been in hip-hop for some time, Nicki Minaj set the tone for these new female hip-hop artists. Indeed, they have taken a page from Nicki’s method of delivery.
For some reason, Nicki’s portrait is not included in the art exhibit. Still, we must give Nicky the credit she is due.
Here is some of what Manon Biernacki shared,
“Through my art, I strive to capture the essence of human emotions and states of mind, using vibrant colors and bold shapes to transform the mundane into the magical,” she said. “And that’s what I’ve strived to do with my portraits of these amazing women for Spotify’s ‘The Gold Standard Exhibit.’”
The art exhibit is on display at The Hole Gallery in New York, as stated by Vibe. There is another part of the exhibit in ‘The Cloud Room.’ It is there a large portrait which includes all of the females, can be seen

According to The Shaderoom, social media is reacting to Spotify’s art exhibit. Spotify stated, “The exhibit is a fine art show to the current golden era of women in hip-hop.”
The art exhibit opened on Wednesday, July 31st. Rapper Latto was so excited about the portrait of her that she leaned against it.
A Historic Exhibition
The “The Gold Standard “ exhibit at Spotify is a collection of beautiful portraits. The artist Manon truly captured the essence of each female rapper’s beauty.
While the art exhibit is a great tribute to female hip-hop artists, some were missing. Fans and hip-hop enthusiasts had mixed reviews. Some expressed their thoughts about Rihanna, Lauryn Hill, and Nicki not being in the mix.
In addition, other fans took to Instagram to share their views. Where are Salt-N-Pepa and Roxanne Shante? After all, they are hip-hop pioneers. Nevertheless, the exhibit is a great idea presented by Spotify.
Especially since female rappers don’t often get recognition.
