Can The 76ers Survive Playoffs Without Embiid?
Sixers Player Joel Embiid Suffered Eye Fracture. According to Sporting News, the Sixers player suffered an orbital fracture. Embiid’s injury happened during game 6 win over Toronto.
As a result, Embiid has been sidelined. And, we do not know when he will be returning. Now, other team members have to step up. Especially because Embiid was such a crucial player.
The Sixers have a game tonight. Hopefully, they can pull off a win without the powerful center. Although, I am not sure it will happen. So far, the Sixers have done well in the playoffs.
Embidd will not be traveling with the team for games 1&2. Game 1 will take place between Philadelphia Sixers and Miami Heat in Miami tonight.
Sources: 76ers All-NBA star Joel Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and mild concussion in series-clinching Game 6 win last night in Toronto. He will be listed as out and there is no timetable for his return.

On Wednesday, game 2 will be played. Sixers are hopeful that Embiid may return to the game by game 3 or 4. As a long-time Sixers fan, my hope is Embiid will return soon.
Of course, there are other capable players on the team. So far, Sixer’s player James Harden has been questionable, in my opinion.
To be fair, it is possible Harden is still getting acclimated to the team. In other words, he may not have found his rhythm. Overall, the Sixer’s play has been quite impressive.
