Outkast Songs
The Legendary Duo: OutKast
Outkast Songs. This Atlanta duo made such an impact on hip-hop culture. In fact, according to Cosmic,
“As a byproduct of their career to meteoric hometown homage, it marks as a stark reminder of how legendary this group is, how undeniably crucial they’ve been towards influencing the next generation of top-tier artists, how classic their music is and how earth-shattering their presence has been on the landscape of hip-hop – both culturally and sonically.”
This was a really great way to pay homage to this Atlanta rap duo. These two music artists were innovative.
Of course, they pushed the envelope with fashion and music lyrics, as reported by Cosmic Mag. being different back then was not the norm.
However, hip-hop music has evolved. So, it is common to see music artists wear outrageous costumes. Also, when you think about their musical style it was futuristic.
It was almost unheard of 25 -years- ago for men to wear bright colors. But Andre’ 3000 wore all sorts of bright colors. And, Big Bio followed suit.
We can say their musical style was edgy and a little eclectic. For instance, in the movie “Idlewild” both Percival (Andre ‘Benjamin)and Rooster(Antwan Patton), characters were very diverse.
The music in the movie was funky and soulful. Additionally, presented Andre and Big Boi’s acting abilities.
Both went on to act in other films such as, (Four Brothers, High Life, Scary Movie 4, and Be Cool. Big Boi acted in,(Creepshow, Superfly, Atl, and Who’s Your Caddy?).
